The EMV's fuel consumption screen displays current and historical fuel consumption as well as the distance to empty.

EMV showing instant and historical fuel consumption as well as the distance to empty

Note that the fuel consumption chart displays the Kilometres per Litre (which is the opposite of the litres per 100 kilometres measure commonly used in eg Australia). Hence, a low value reflects high fuel consumtion, where eg 10 represents 10 kilometres per litre (which happens to equal 10 litres per 100 kilometres), but a displayed value of eg 8 is equal to 12.5 litre per 100 km and so on.

The historical chart displays the average consumption for up top one hour in 3-minute blocks. This is reset when the ignition is turned off.

There is also a separate screen that shows details of the last 5 trips, including the

  • date
  • distance
  • duration
  • amount of fuel used

for each of the last 5 (?) trips.
