To remove the air box:
- unplug the AFM connector
- undo the hose clamp connecting the "concertina hose" to the engine air chamber
- remove 4 x bolts (3 at front of air box and one at rear)
- squeeze the concertina hose forward and release from engine air chamber
- slide air chambers rearward and remove
The cruise control cover may also need to be removed first.
There is no need to unbolt the AFM in order to remove the air box. And even if the AFM needs to be unbolted, this is easier done with the air box assembly removed.
