Suspension 'boots'

Each of the suspension pistons is intended to be protected from eg dust and water by a flexible "rubber" boot/cover. These covers consist of two parts: the main "concertina" section, capped with a "top hat", and is held in place by the two hose clamps.
These covers deteriorate over time and are often found to be severely damaged or even completely missing.
To replace them, the suspension needs to be disassembled.
